Construction is progressing as planned to revitalize historic downtown Frisco!
To date, the City of Frisco's investment to redevelop the downtown Rail District exceeds $80 million. The project is designed to improve walkability, create rail-themed public gathering places and provide a venue for live music and other performances. Project Timeline
- July 2024: Main Street construction began.
- September 2024: 4th Street Plaza construction began.
- February 2025: Construction began on the public parking garage.
- December 2025: Main Street reopened to traffic.
- June 2026: Main Street completed.
- June 2026: Public parking garage opened.
August 2026: 4th Street Plaza is anticipated for completion.Project Details
