Event Timeline:
- 12:00-8:30 p.m. l Animatronic Bug Display, Pop-Up Science & Toy Shop, Themed Putting Course, and Photo Op
Visit the PGA District at PGA Frisco to check out an 8ft. tall animatronic dragonfly, an 8ft. long grasshopper, 7.5 ft. tall bombardier beetle, and more! Sit on the back of an 8ft. caterpillar for a photo op, make your way around the themed putting course, and grab a sweet treat at Margaret’s Cones & Cups.
- 1:00-4:00 p.m. l “It’s a Bugs Life” activation with Frisco Discovery Center
The Frisco Discovery Center will bring live bugs for families to admire and learn about in a close-up encounter with magnifying glasses.
- 4:00-7:00 p.m. l “Bug Hotel” Crafts with Playful Kids Club
Kids will create a safe temporary habitat for bugs to encourage pollinators and helpful insects. Craft tickets are available HERE.
- 6:30-7:00 p.m. l Presentation from Billings Productions
Billings Productions will present an engaging talk about the role insects play in our ecosystem and the incredible process behind creating the lifelike animatronic bugs featured at the event.
- 7:00-8:00 p.m. l Movie on The Video Wall: A Bug‘s Life
Wrap up the evening with a special showing of “A Bug’s Life” on the video wall. It’s the perfect ending to the day.
